We are looking for a full-time Senior Sales Manager. This is a unique opportunity to join our growing team to help build a scalable sales model to support our growth strategy. You will learn about our product, process and technology and play a critical role in the Sales team effort by facilitating the front end of the sales process and follow-up with key market targets. 

In this role, you should be prepared to roll up your sleeves and personally see initiatives through to completion, independently manage multiple priorities and meet challenging deadlines. You will use a consultative solutions-based sales process and you will identify and qualify target prospects, concisely articulate how our value proposition is unique compared to other solutions in the market, effectively address key pain points and objections, and schedule demonstration meetings.

We’d love to see

  • 8+ years previous experience in selling technology and/or service-based solutions
  • 2+ years experience selling SaaS, HR Technology or Talent Management services/solutions is preferred
  • HR knowledge from talent management and employee development, familiarity with the employee life-cycle to other HR/productivity solution providers is strongly preferred
  • proven experience speaking to C Suite Executives and/or Senior HR Professionals with demonstrated ability to influence others using energetic and engaging verbal skills, excellent listening skills and strong writing skills
  • proven track record working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships at all levels within an organisation

Job responsibilities

  • generate new business opportunities to fuel Nestor’s pipeline and growth
  • develop and execute aggressive sell-to and sell-through strategies
  • collaborate with product and marketing colleagues to develop targeted lists, engagement strategies and messaging to initiate and drive opportunities
  • understand the uniqueness of our software and be able to effectively communicate the ROI of an investment into our proprietary solution
  • apply product, business and industry knowledge to conduct high-level discovery and educational conversations with HR professionals for target accounts to schedule demonstrations and initial meetings
  • cultivate relationships and effectively navigating throughout each organization to build relationships for future opportunity development within the HR industry
  • apply quality standards of call set-up performance including, but not limited to: framing, delivering, scheduling, and follow-up for upcoming demonstrations and meetings
  • work within a quota-based environment. Manage, maintain, track, and report on all activities, follow-up tasks and results; report daily, weekly and monthly metrics
  • support revenue growth through customer advocacy and referrals
  • keep informed of changes in the HR industry, the competitive landscape (products, services and sales strategies) and actively engage in developing yourself as a thought leader
  • actively engage in networking, developing industry and professional expertise to identify and connect with potential prospects and understand their challenges
